Nothing to say.

Nothing to say here, except bored and out of my mind, or is that suppose to be together. I don't know. Well anyways. I have something interesting to say, I just started working on playing the guitar like a drum, or something to that effect and so far it sounds good. Does anyone else like guitar out there?

The time is coming!!!

Summer is just around the corner and I am ecstatic. I can't wait til I have some time to go to the coffee shops and play some music. I never really had the confidence to play in front of others, even now I still shy away, but after listening to local band play I feel like I have a good chance at making something out of this. Even if it's simple cash once in a while. Well, wish me luck anyone that is reading...

I love music, I simply do. If there were a good way to make great money I would be a music major. The only problem with the maj is that there is no guarantee of success. As a result, I am falling back on my second enjoyment, computers. I will say that there is something that I once had that is lost since my self discovery. I don't know if I really like computers enough to spend time in it night after night. We will see.

What is this berry that is so sweet and lush as to quench my thirst and stay my hunger. The only trouble is where to find this berry and taste of its Succulent juice.
Where do I dine to find these berry of times and from who's hand must I eat to be blessed to eat this privileged fruit.

My Beloved Tree

The tree sways in time, endless and beautiful.
This tree has been here for years and for years to come,
And to everyone, it bares its fruit.
Yet, for me it saves something special.
I pick at its fruit, and relish in its shade.

Song of the Week - Estrella

Well, this one is me playing the rhythm part first recording it and then playing on top of that while recording again. I hope you like this one, just created it today about two hours ago. Really is just me working on some solo parts for it. If anyone would like to hear more of this please let me know, Hope you guys like it. Oh, interesting fact, there is a slight change in the scale in the middle can anyone guess. Music Majors...?

Guitarist???

I got to speak with my instructor in a one to one session. I spoke to him about the music I have been playing and the amount of theory that I have studied and he has recommended that I speak with Mark Cruz about the creative aspect of music. It's interesting. The piece that I put on here, is a good example. After the analysis of the progression I use, I discovered that a progression can be made to lean towards a chord that can resolve. Simple put, by removing the third of a triad and adding a 6th, 7th, or 9th you can get this property to the chord. Well, anyways enough of that. I look now for the moment that I can speak with Mark Cruz and determine what I need to become a better musician. Mark Cruz is the Classical Guitar Instructor at the Texas State University. Wonder what will happen Next?

This one is not so much as a post, rather a snippet of music that I have been playing or working on.
It still needs some work. There are parts that I am trying out to really pull certain moods , but its slow coming as I am very busy right now. Please give me your opinions, I am also going to put a separate file that has a solo included. I haven't determined where or how long the song will be but it will be soon. Well, anyways.
